A Season of Building, Blessing, and Gratitude

Santa’s construction elves have been hard at work since the very beginning of December and what a joyful sight it has been! In just three short weeks, the old building has been carefully demolished, a new foundation laid, and now the walls of the first floor are rising before our eyes. What once was a vision is becoming a reality, brick by brick, thanks to many hands and many hearts.
Â
Guiding this remarkable progress is Fr. Martin’s brother-in-law, Charles Ssentongo, our highly respected architect, engineer, and our construction supervisor.  He continues to lead the project with great care and wisdom. We are deeply grateful for his leadership and expertise, and we give thanks to God for the way He continues to provide exactly what is needed at just the right time.
Â
While Fr. Martin was in Uganda visiting his family, he treated the 45 children staying on campus during the break to a joyful off-campus day of fun and laughter! The kids delighted in bouncing around on inflatable houses, dancing to music, and playing games, making memories filled with smiles, energy, and pure happiness.
Â
While construction continues, the children of Hope Infant School are joyfully spending time with their families during the school break. Many of our families have opened their homes and hearts by welcoming children who live at Hope School into their Christmas celebrations—a beautiful witness of Christmas spirit. The 45 children who stayed on campus are celebrating the Christmas season with the Luboyeras at their family farm, surrounded by warmth, care, and love of the season.
Â
As we reflect on all that has been accomplished, our hearts are full of gratitude. None of this would be possible without your generosity, prayers, and unwavering support. Because of you, our shared vision is coming to life, and we are reminded once again that when we place our trust in the Lord, He does abundantly more than we could ever imagine.
Â
May the Christ Child, whose humble birth we celebrate, fill your homes with peace, your hearts with joy, and your lives with His abiding presence. We wish you a blessed and holy Christmas season, and we thank you for being such an important part of this journey.
