Life at Hope Infant School has been busy!
Our amazing construction teams have continued to work around the clock, seven days a week, to make incredible progress. We’re thrilled to share that they completed the demolition and rebuilding of two stories before students returned for the new school year on February 9!
Today, four beautiful first-floor classrooms are full of students. By April four additional classrooms on the second floor will be filled with the chatter and laughter of our young learners, such exciting news for our school family! A smaller crew will continue working on weekends until the next month-long school break in late May to keep everything moving.
We also have some wonderful academic achievements to celebrate! Our students performed exceptionally well on the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), Uganda’s national exam that determines placement in secondary school (high school). Three of our students—Jorum Bbosa, Josephine Nankya, and Nassuuna Mildred—earned top scores in the entire country! What an incredible accomplishment! We couldn’t be more proud! Academic excellence has always been part of Hope Infant School’s story, and because of your generous support, that story continues to grow stronger every year.
The excitement throughout the community continues to grow. Mrs. Luboyera has already begun a waiting list of families eager to enroll their children at Hope Infant School, a powerful sign of trust and belief in what we are building here. "Together we can do great things." ~ Mother Teresa
Thank you for walking this journey with us. Your generosity is making a real and lasting difference. Our students are thriving, our classrooms are expanding, and the future is brighter than ever.
