Spring Break at Hope School!

As spring break begins at Hope Infant School from May 4 through June 4, our campus is filled with hope, progress, and the promise of new beginnings. Although the classrooms will be quieter for a few weeks, exciting changes are taking place behind the scenes.

On May 6, trucks arrived carrying sand and cement, and construction crews immediately began plastering the second-floor classrooms of our new school building. Watching this work begin was a powerful reminder that dreams once prayed for are becoming reality.

In the weeks ahead, these classrooms will be painted, furnished, and prepared to welcome students back in June.

At the same time, our students who call Hope School their home are enjoying a joyful spring break outdoors with new sports equipment generously donated by students at St. Joe’s. Their kindness is a beautiful reminder that communities can change lives, even from 7,728 miles away.

This season represents far more than construction progress. Two of the building’s three planned floors are now complete, and when classes resume, we will officially have eight classrooms dedicated to educating, encouraging, and inspiring children every day.

There is still more to come. During the August and September break, construction will continue with the addition of the third floor, which will become a new dormitory for students who live at Hope School. For these children, the dormitory is far more than a place to sleep; it will provide safety, stability, and a true sense of home.

Just before Easter, Fr. Martin received news of our newest six arrivals. Each little girl was lovingly given dresses from our reserve and seeing them cared for so tenderly truly makes our hearts smile.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors, sponsors, supporters, and friends. Every classroom, desk, and opportunity exists because people chose to care. Your support is not simply building structures, its BUILDING HOPE, safety, education, and brighter futures for these children.
